Monthly horse boarding ranges by the size of the horse. Miniatures and ponies start at $185.00. Standard size horses start from $200.00 to $250.00 for extra large breeds. Additional services are available and are over and above the monthly boarding fee. These fees are for pellets. Horses that have been eating hay prior to arriving here will be transitioned to pellets gradually. Most horses if given a choice will eat the pellets first. We keep a close eye on all the horses being boarded here at Lazy J Ranch. If your horse shows signs of illness or injury I will contact you immediately and you can decide what the course of action will be. Our ranch vet is Dr. Reg Rasner D.V.M., you may use him or the vet of your choice.

SK FARRIER SERVICES Our ranch farrier is Steve Klein and can be your farrier too! He is a very dependable, relaible farrier that shows up for all appointments and calls when he will be late. That in itself is hard to find. He does all my horses, from miniature's to Quarter Horse stallions. He is reasonably priced and will work with you for multiple horses. He serves RIverside County and some parts of San Bernardino County. Steve does not mind doing my tiny mini's or babies. SERVICES PROVIDED BY LAZY J RANCH FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE... Winter - Blanketing-Off at dawn,on at dusk,weather permitting. Summer - Fly mask or fly sheet on at dawn off at dusk. $1.00 per day per horse. Lessons- Specialiazing in new horse owners starting with grooming, ground work and beginner riding, adult or child. $30.00 per hour. This service is tailored to you and your horse. If you refer a friend and that friend takes more than 4 lessons I will give you a $5.00 reduction on your hourly lesson. Turnouts-Turning out horse/horses, always alone. $1.00 per day per horse. Grooming-Washing, brushing, hoof picking etc. $25.00 per hour. Supplement feeding - Supplement provided by owner, fed per instructions, $1.00 per day per horse. Ground work - Natural horsemanship technics in the roundpen. $30.00 per hour, per horse. Horse handling - Holding horse during farrier or vet visit. $25.00 per horse per hour. Trailer storage while your horse/horses are boarded here is $25.00 per month. LAZY J RANCH HAS A FREE FLY SPRAY SERVICE. HORSEOWNER MUST PROVIDE HIS/HER OWN FLY SPRAY. I WILL SPRAY HORSE EACH DAY.
